To support our growth, we are looking for a:

M&A ANALYST (W/M)

LONG TERM CONTRACT

MADRID (Spain) or PARIS (France)

Within the M&A department, you will be supporting joint development partnership origination, asset acquisitions and the build-out of robust M&A processes.

Your main tasks will be to:

CONDUCT FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND EVALUATE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

• Run sensitivities and scenario analysis with critical thinking and common sense, ensuring outputs are sound and decision-useful rather than mechanical.

• Build, maintain and stress-test financial models for the acquisition of operational, under-construction, ready-to-build (RTB) and development-stage assets (PV + BESS).

COORDINATE DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES:

• Coordinate due diligence streams and help manage external advisors.

• Assist in reviewing transaction documentation alongside legal counsel.

SUPPORT EXECUTION OF M&A TRANSACTIONS:

• Support acquisition processes from origination through signing and closing, under the guidance of senior team members.

• Support integration of acquired assets into asset management.

CONTRIBUTE TO STRUCTURING M&A PROCESSES:

• Prepare investment papers and supporting materials for IC and shareholders.

• Contribute to building internal M&A frameworks, tools and governance.

Expected skills

You hold a master's degree in corporate finance and have at least 3 years of successful experience in investment banking (infrastructure / renewables) or in an IPP investment team within an international environment.

You have solid expertise in financial analysis and modelling, enabling you to provide the analysis that will support investment decisions.

You have a good knowledge of financial markets, a solid understanding of the renewable energy sector and its financing mechanisms and you've handled live transactions and due diligence processes.

You are proficient in reporting tools and methods and know how to transform data into relevant visual indicators to drive performance.

Advanced Excel skills and fluency in English are essential for this role.
